Accessing the Energy Balance view
Go to the Trends page, open the drop-down menu, and select Energy Balance. This opens the energy balance dashboard along with your current live energy status.
Understanding your live energy status
At the top of the screen, you'll see your live within-day energy balance. This shows, in real time, whether you're currently in a calorie surplus or deficit based on what you've eaten and the energy you've expended so far that day.
Reading the daily Energy Balance chart
The main chart displays your daily energy balance across the week. A zero baseline runs through the centre of the chart. Bars extending above zero represent days in an energy surplus, while bars extending below zero represent days in an energy deficit.
Planned versus logged energy balance
Grey bars show your planned energy balance based on your goals and training schedule. White bars show your actual logged energy balance based on intake and expenditure. This side-by-side comparison highlights how closely your real-world behaviour matches your intended plan.
Viewing daily energy details
Tap any bar to view detailed information for that day. A tooltip appears showing the date along with the exact planned and logged energy balance values.

Negative values below zero mean you burned more calories than you consumed, resulting in an energy deficit. Positive values above zero mean you consumed more calories than you burned, creating an energy surplus.
