How to use the Hexis Replanning Feature

How Hexis automatically keeps your fuelling on track when your day doesn't go to plan.

Training runs long. Schedules shift. You eat more or less than your plan recommended. A static nutrition plan can't handle any of that - but Hexis can.

What replanning does

Replanning is how Hexis keeps your nutrition plan matched to what's actually happening in your day, not just what was originally scheduled. Hexis reassesses your plan automatically whenever any of the following happens:

  • You log a meal.

  • You skip a meal.

  • You add a meal.

  • Your workout data is received or updated.

Each time one of these happens, Hexis checks whether you're over- or under-fuelling against your targets, works out which macronutrients are affected, and adjusts your remaining meals and snacks to bring your day back on track - within milliseconds.

Seeing replanning in action

Here's a worked example, using a breakfast with a recommended target of 86g of carbohydrate:

  1. You log your breakfast - say, pancakes and blueberries - and mark the meal as complete.

  2. Hexis checks the meal against your target. In this example, you've eaten 40g less carbohydrate than planned.

  3. Hexis replans your remaining meals. Your post-workout recovery snack, for example, is automatically increased in carbohydrate to help make up the shortfall.

Your total daily carbohydrate target is still met, even though breakfast didn't go exactly to plan.

Maintaining carbohydrate periodisation

Replanning doesn't just chase your daily totals - it protects the timing behind them. Hexis reallocates missed carbohydrate to the meals and snacks where it will best support your training and recovery, rather than simply adding it to whatever's next.

Preventing overfuelling

The same logic works in reverse. If you eat more carbohydrate than planned at one meal, Hexis reduces the carbohydrate allocation at your later meals to keep your daily total on target and avoid overfuelling.

Why this matters

One meal going off-plan no longer derails your whole day. Every meal you log- or skip, or add - gives Hexis a fresh opportunity to optimise the rest of your day around where you actually are, not where the original plan assumed you'd be.
